At the thread mill we have courses to meet all levels of crafters. Whether you have never sewn, painted furniture, knitted, crocheted, quilted etc. before we can help or if you are a competent crafter and just want to get together with like minded people where you can sew, paint, knit or whatever craft you like while having a chat and a cuppa the thread mill is the place for you.

We have a full fabric shop with lots of dressmaking and quilting fabrics plus other haberdashery items including wool for both knitting and crochet fans.

We are based in a beautiful converted mill in the lovely village of Hayfield, High Peak. As you can see from our gallery we have lots of space for you to create wonderful things with or without our guidance!
